About Red 225

Red 225 is a not-for-profit art gallery and blog based in Nashville, TN.

The website’s literature primarily features 20-question interviews with creatives, and exhibition reviews penned 200 words or less.

The gallery is honored to share the talents of visual artists who have the courage to explore their own aesthetic in a world saturated with images. It is a place of peace and ideas, and is welcome to all.

Red 225 is named after the only lipstick shade that owner Kathleen Boyle wears, a signature of sorts. Boyle holds a BA in Art History, MFA in Art Criticism and Writing, and MA in Art History. She is the Senior Manager of Exhibitions for the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, as well as an art history professor for Nashville-area colleges. Red 225 is her labor of love.
